i dont want the cardinals to even think about cargo unless his price is fairly cheap (which i doubt it will be).

his splits are startling, hes getting older, and hes pretty much a lock to miss anywhere from 20-100 games per season.


we have enough injury concerns on our team, so pls no cargo.

the only 2 bigger names i see the cardinals potentially having interest in are upton and cargo.


depending on the price/term, id much rather have justin upton.

Honestly my preference would be 1) Upton 2) Cargo 3) Cueto, but I wouldn't be mad with any of them.

People so easily forget just how good he is when he's healthy.

yea, but hes not healthy enough.

the cardinals have enough older, injury prone veterans. we need durability and to some extent, consistency.


i know justin upton isnt all that consistent, but hes more consistent than davis or cargo, and hes younger and more durable than cargo.



plus cargo has played his entire career in the best hitters park in the game, and he has ugly splits for road ballparks and he cant hit lefties.

Meh. 1100 IP over the last 6 seasons works for me haha.
