That makes absolutely no sense, no way in hell Boras lets him sign an extension, he is going to get 17+ million a year easy in free agency, no way braves can even come close to matching that.

Lol you are making th mistake of assuming that just because he is worth it the braves will pay it. If a guy is so stubborn about a few thousand, what makes you think he will have a change of heart when it comes to several million. I'm not a pessimist, I am a realist. It wouldn't make sense to pay that much especially when you have guys like Teheran that can pitch for league minimum

And they are never worth it, people just overpay in FA because they can, it isn't an efficient way to run a franchise

Well whenever I hear anyone talking about Boras driving kids to free agency I always refer to Ajones who signed an extension against Boras's wishes (I think). Btw. those contract incentives can amount to millions I wish I had the inside scoop on them vrs rumors =/
