Better than playing Brent Morel at 3b while Harrison is out.. and I can see Aramis seeing a lot of time at 1b when he returns as Alvarez sucks balls offensively and defensively.

12 years after they the Pirates traded him to the Cubs lol

Him and Price are about equal then Lester... and Samardzija is not even an ace imo
Price dominates the AL and Cueto gets to face the pitcher.

I think Samardzija could be an ace on a lot of teams.

Braves news, so dont read if you don't care
Indeed, the Braves are more likely to hold off on deciding whether to part with Teheran or outfielder Cameron Maybin, MLB.com’s Mark Bowman reports.
The more likely trade pieces for Atlanta, he suggests, are veterans on one-year deals such as reliever Jim Johnson, utilityman Kelly Johnson, and catcher A.J. Pierzynski.
The Braves have been asked about outfielder Nick Markakis, who still has three years left on his free agent deal, but the team is not making him available.
And while Juan Uribe could well be dealt, the club reportedly prefers to attempt to move Chris Johnson first.

I wouldn't mind moving anyone except Maybin/Freeman/Peterson/Andrelton. I don't want to lose Markakis, but if we get good return than that's ok.
I've always loved Teheran, but he allows 1 bad inning every start and ends up losing. His value is low so I wouldn't trade him.
Chris Johnson has expressed that he wants to be traded.. and I don't want anyone on the team who wants to be traded. I understand his playing time has been cut, but meh.
Uribe and Kelly/Jim/Chris Johnson I don't care if we trade for peanuts. I will always respect Kelly for what he's done for this franchise, years ago and now that he's back on the team.

It's Aramis's last year and I'm a huge fan.. it is nice to see him go back to where he began to end his career. He had a great career.. one of the more under rated 3b. He's like 36 lol

I've never been high on Samardzija even as a Cub.. he's no where consistent enough to be considered an ace on any team.

They'd be dumb to sell low on Teheran at this point. Jace may end up moving to 3b eventually when Peraza is ready.

He started out so fucking sketch.. but working with Andrelton has been awesome. His DPs are so much smoother now.
He still has trouble with hard hit short-hops, but a lot of players do. He's still young so I hope his defense comes around.
Wouldn't mind moving him to 3B, but I don't know his arm strength. I actually like Uribes defense at third.. he might be pudgy but he always throws a perfect chest-high throw to first.

Oh yeah, forgot he came from Cubs, so you have better experience/knowledge of him.
Yeah, I'd be an Aramis fan except for the fact he destroys Atlanta.

He played 3b in the minors when he was with the Padres farm system; but that was the reason he was shifted to 2nd was the arm strength concerns. Uribe is solid at 3rd and a great clubhouse guy but he's a pending free agent. He could still bring back some value if they trade him.
