I'm not quite sure what merits Luis Ayala as the fireman right there. The guy has trouble missing bats and seems like every out he gets is out on a line drive or hard hit grounders. Use Cory Wade, who rapes lefties, then you have Laffey and Noesi to eat up later innings. Instead he uses his worst reliever in possibly the highest leverage situation in the game and now the game is out of reach. Incredible.
