The Blue Jays aren't going to contend this year. Management knows this. AA is working towards building a perennial contender. He's not Ricciardi who would try to appease you lugheads by going out and ...blowing his whole wad on 1 or 2 free agents and hoping everything falls into place.

He's going to build a solid core of young, controllable players, and then he'll make the big free agent signings and contend. Think 2013 or 2014. Moves like some of you are suggesting that would see Napoli playing more than Arencibia, who may very well be the starting catcher of the future for years to come, would hinder Arencibia's development even further and set the team back. It's a good thing none of you have any input as to the direction of the franchise.

Its not like Napoli was going to do anything for the Jays this year anyway. He was taking Arencibia's spot too.

I really am looking forward to Drabek. I love watching prospects so.

yeah he has huge potential, just hoping the work load doesn't cause any injuries, though he pitched a ton last year
