Hector Noesi has swagger. After Joe Girardi ordered an intentional walk on J.J. Hardy from the dugout in the 14th inning, Noesi nearly threw a strike in the pitch sequence. During the following at-bat, Noesi received a call from the catcher to pitch just wide of the strike zone in a 1-2 count and Noesi threw to the intentional ball location. His next pitch was an 86 mile per hour slider with movement called for the strikeout. He'll do well here.
