Also, you act like Castellanos being an All-Star is far fetched. It wouldn't be his first selection lol.... He was an All-Star in 2021, All-MLB selection in 2021, and Silver Slugger winner in 2021.

Yet he only has a 1.9 war, which is right where moniak is at. So you essentially replaced a player, with another player, whom you pay 20m a year, to be as valuable as a guy you were paying peanuts. So in conclusion he should be an all star because he makes 20m a year.

Actually, the Phillies replaced Moniak with Marsh. Castellanos doesn't play center, Marsh does.

Marsh 1.8 WAR
Castellanos 1.5 WAR
Moniak 1.4 WAR

In reality, Castellanos WAR is low because he's bad defensively. His offense carries the way though. Marsh has turned out to be a stud though, elite defensively but also pretty damn solid with the bat too.
