Because you said all star lol. Really? Just because he's the Phillies best player so far (which in its own right is pretty sad), doesn't mean he's deserving of an all star nod. C'mon DM if I tried to tell u that a guy with 10 hrs and a 1.9 war is all star deserving, you would laugh. I will agree with you tho that he may actually be worth $20m a year.. to the Phillies. And hey as long as they win that's all that matters right? So I'll give u that one, but he is not an all star for a reason lol.
I said he should be in the All-Star convo. I mean, the NL is pretty crowded with good players, but he's absolutely in consideration there's no denying that. Whether or not he makes it is yet to be seen.
NL Outfield RANKS:
#2 in Batting Average (.314)
#1 in Doubles (25)
#2 in RBI (52)
#5 in OPS (.863)
#2 in Hits (99 - despite being 9th in AB's)
#5 in SLG (.505)
The only area you're knocking him is HR's, because he "only" has 11 of them. Yet you're completely avoiding the fact that he's hitting an insane amount of doubles (2nd most of all players in the NL) and is just hitting well overall.
Also, you act like Castellanos being an All-Star is far fetched. It wouldn't be his first selection lol.... He was an All-Star in 2021, All-MLB selection in 2021, and Silver Slugger winner in 2021.
