I don't get it though, replacing one streaky hitter for another (PEdroia). I admit I lost a lot of respect for Pedroia after last season and the whole Manny MAchado thing which may skew my opinion, but Pedroia was fucking bum swinging the bat last fall....

what am I missing? Hanley was hot in April, we could use a power bat in the playoff, no? it's not like hes that much of a liability at first base...

Mitch Moreland is pretty decent at least, I don't really mind him.
