well apparently both scioscia and dipoto were, but that nice little month we had (something like 23-9 before this series) changed artes mind. I hope he sees how this series went and remembers its been like this damn near all year.
i dont see how its dipotos fault at all, hes more of a billy beane type GM and is more involved, and those signings of pujols and hamilton were mainly arte pushing him. I love everything scioscia's done for this franchise, by far my fav angels manager. but somethings gotta change.
obviously i dont know the whole story or a lot of the intangibles since im not there, basing this off what ive read (many many articles). But i dont see how you can lose this many games with this much talent. countless times hes played the wrong bullpen guys, he doesnt properly pinch-hit players. its like hes nothing of the same manager he once was, hes more of a hindrance to this team. I dont know the exact number, but in the last 2 seasons we have like 60-ish blown leads in the 8th or later (possibly 9th or later), thats just unacceptable, and its 100% scioscias fault.

the bullpen is what kills you guys. If you can get that straightened out or get a new manager who knows how to utilize it, it'll be a 3-way race for the division next year

last year it was our main problem, then they go sign hamilton (apparently they think scoring a few more runs will make up for blowing tie games and leads?)
definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. our pen is weaker this year than it was last year, and on top of it scioscia doesnt know how to use the pen. forget blown saves, ive seen them blow so many tied games, its depressing.
40 blown saves the last 2 seasons, and this isnt including any games blown when tied. my previous guess of 60 was probably low. 40 games the last 2 years we could have won with a decent closer. countless more tied games lost because scioscia puts in some random guy ive never even heard of.

look at what happened game 1 of this series. that walk-off HR, wrong pitcher was used in that situation. ive seen that happened at least 25 times this year.

The fans were carrying Jim Knox on their shoulders screaming, it was crazy at the park. With the Ranger storm trooper leading the pack.
