I mean if you look at that lineup I posted compared to the lineups we have had in recent years ... it's crazy. Two years ago our offense was actually pretty damn good too.

yea when huff had that silver slugger year our offense was good.
Not to mention markakis/roberts/jones all had legit years for the first half


and another thing people are failing to realize is ROBERTS is healthy.
That seriously changes the whole lineup when he is playing. He is our spark.

Yeah, Roberts is one of the best leadoff men in the game. He works the count well and when he gets on he is a major threat to steal.

I forget if it was tucker or minestrone earlier who mentioned last in stolen bases. Felix Pie had 5 steals last season ... it isn't going to make a difference if he is LF or not in terms of SB's. I'd much rather have Vlad hitting .280+ with 20+ HR at DH and Scott in LF hitting .280+ with 20 HR than have one of them + Pie in LF misjudging fly balls that leads to doubles and hitting .275 with less than 10 HR.
