Adam Jones is grossly underrated... I didn't think much of him until watching him play.. he has speed, quick hands, very good eye.. he has a ton of room to build power.

We need a spark.. not just a brute who hits dingers.. we need to immensely increase our speed, need to immensely increase our run production.

IDK.. I think Adam Jones was a solid attempt, I do also think Prado and Jurrjens alone is too much for him.





This is ridiculous though.. Martin Prado is one of the most underrated players in baseball, and definitely the most underrated utility player.. guy has done so much for us and has given us so much results.
Jurrjens is overrated by some people, but most people just talk shit about him all the time.. he is a very good pitcher, not a top tier pitcher.

Jones isn't underrated ewok lol, the guy has won gold gloves for his name and highlight plays alone, even though his defense is average AT BEST, quick hands can only help so much when you swing at everything thrown at you as well... he has a horrible eye, that is why his walk/chase rate are so horrible, and his power wouldn't be nearly as useful in Turner Field. We would immensely increase our run production with a healthy Heyward and Prado, and we already are increasing our speed with Pastornicky and a full year of Bourn

With the Marlins headlining every available pitcher... and Hanley not wanting to change positions for Reyes... why don't we try and grab Hanley for Jurrjens + one of the big 5 pitching prospects?
