The Toronto Blue Jays signed outfielder Adam Lind to a four-year, US$18 million contract Saturday.

if he can produce 30+ hr's and 100+ rbis again, which i see no reason y he cant, then he is a steal at 4.5 million a year. This team will be very good in a couple years just like the rays have become.

I agree with you on the Lind deal, and I am really happy with how that turned out. I don't think the bolded part is going to happen though. Maybe in the next decade or two we may be lucky and get a wild card spot or something...but a couple of years, probably not.
Yankees and Sox can establish stable teams every year.
Rays are rising.
Orioles are getting better.
I would like to see a playoff spot sometime soon though, would be amazing. There would have to be a lot of flops though from other solid teams for that to occur.

I didnt say anything about them having a playoff spot in a couple years,i just said they will be a good team in a couple years. If Drabek,Romero and Morrow continue to develop, and Mcgowan gets his game back, and Marcum is the Marcum of old, that is a good potential starting 5,and then with Lind,Hill,Wallace,Snider, Arcebia developing, thats 5 potentially good/great position players
