if he can produce 30+ hr's and 100+ rbis again,which i see no reason y he cant,then he is a steal at 4.5 million a year.This team will be very good in a couple years just like the rays have become.

I agree with you on the Lind deal, and I am really happy with how that turned out. I don't think the bolded part is going to happen though. Maybe in the next decade or two we may be lucky and get a wild card spot or something...but a couple of years, probably not.
Yankees and Sox can establish stable teams every year.

I would like to see a playoff spot sometime soon though, would be amazing. There would have to be a lot of flops though from other solid teams for that to occur.
