Yankees went 3-15 to end the year one year, and won the world series, september stats don't mean shit once it hits october, tomorrow we go against Blanton and a myriad of relievers while throwing our best pitcher, meanwhile the cards, without holliday or furcal, have to go against Myers who has been the best pitcher in the NL this month

this is a myth, wins counted the same last month as they did this month, wins don't matter more now than they did in april, all teams go through slumps like this, unfortunately the Braves are going through it at the end of the year so everything is amplified.
