Dave Cameron: The whole fatigue narrative is kind of ridiculous. The Braves trio only ranks so highly in appearances because no one else is using their bullpens regularly anymore - thanks in large part to expanded pitching staffs and lower run environments. There's nothing historically out of place about how the Braves have used their relievers this year.

Dave Cameron: It's funny how history has shown that September performance has basically no correlation with October performance, but every year, the narrative ignores that

Dave Cameron: The Phillies are headed for a pretty big fall, I'm not overly bullish on the Marlins, and the Mets have significant cash-flow problems. I think it's Atlanta's division going forward, at least once the Phillies age catches up with them.

In light of probably blowing a playoff spot...

Mike Newman of Fangraphs profiles Braves minor league left-hander Ronan Pacheco, who "is simply too perfect an example of a pitcher who bucks just about every prospect stereotype on both the statistical and scouting sides to not discuss."

I really hope you arent counting on the Cards to let you have the wildcard spot.

The question should be, why are the Braves laying down to every team?

Yes, i was just assuming the cardinals would start losing on purpose because they think the Braves are such good guys

i dont think he meant literally let u win the wildcard. he means the cards are going to continue to play well, so the braves better start winning very quickly
