Obviously good for Ruiz to get a home run on his first hit. I'm hoping he can hit for average, it would suck for another rookie to come out, hit a ton of home runs and get shut down when the league has a chance to have a look, along the lines of Joc, Will Smith, Alex Guerro from a few years ago, Thompson, etc., etc.

I'm not sure wtf Roberts was thinking leaving Stripling in that long, but I'm pretty over his decision making.

Not a playoff game or anything and they were getting runs. I’m kind of happy he didn’t tax the bullpen more than he did.

2020 is turning everyone and everything into giant pussies for sure.

Also, Rockies doing what they do and collapsing after a promising start. You know that when their starters miraculously had the best stats they’d plummet down to earth.

Throwback start for Kershaw today, lots of swings and misses, first pitch strikes, never had a ton of traffic and like last time just gave up the one solo home run on a 3-1 count. Went a little longer pitch count-wise this time, which is also very encouraging.

Feel bad for the M’s starter this game, he got ripped off early and it set the tone for the whole game.

I hope that Buehler has a bounce back game tonight. He's handled them before, so there's that. Rockies need this series, if they were to get swept they may just get buried going forward.
