This team is home run or go fuck yourself at the moment.

Only silver lining on offense is they have so many guys in major slumps if they manage to have a few come out of it and start hitting it’ll go a long way with the pitching and defense they’ve got.

Sucks for May to lose pitching a great game like that.

Watching them play this season, it blows my mind to know they have the best run differential in the league and haven't lost a series.

Yeah, lots of close losses and blowout wins. Should have the best differential even with tonight’s loss.

Honesty, the bullpen is performing considerably better than people thought. It was supposed to be their weakness but it turns out it is the offense lol. They’ll get it together though.

League batting average was at .232 just 4 days ago. That’s the lowest ever....and the NL is even using the DH....

Holy shit what a cluster fuck this inning has been.


EDIT -- Bellinger with 2 double plays in his first two at bats. He needs to take a week off or just opt out of the remainder of this season, something is wrong with him for sure.

Bad timing for him to have this slump contract-wise. On the other hand, this dumb fluke of a season seems like an appropriate time considering how well so many great players are doing considering the upheaval from COVID. He's only 25 so I think the organization will do what they can to sign him but I guess it isn't totally inconceivable that he leaves.
