I'm in agreement with you. They gave up a shitload for a flyball pitcher to pitch in that launching pad in ARZ. With that said, the fading down the stretch happens with all young pitchers who aren't used to a 200IP workload.

you will get solid innings and ERA out of him, and going to the dbacks that park aint much more of a hitters park than the braves.
just saying, be happy, he will prolly get u guys the WC, and with that rotation, thats all ull need to get the NLCS.
cuz that offense can, and has easily carried that team for more wins than what they should have had the last few seasons.
ARZ is not that far behind Coors Field. The park is tiny and the ball flys in the Arizona heat.

For what it's worth ZiPS had some extremely favorable projections for him as a starter. I always thought he had a chance to be a #3-4 but his versatility(excells as a reliever as well) makes him an ideal swingman.
I think he wil get the 7th but he was great in a long relief role/spot starter. Can't see him taking any rotation spot away from Hammel or Hendricks.
I'm not entirely sure what they plan on doing with the BP seeing as they've now got 4 long relievers in Warren, Clayton Richard, Travis Wood, and Cahill under contract.
