Its just the start to the season. Its only April. I'm honestly happy we are where we are :)

That is true, I'm just hoping Callaway doesn't make any more boneheaded decisions like Collins did..

I don't think Collins knew how to use a bullpen. I think Callaway knows what he's doing especially with the success he's had coaching.

Nothing would make me more happier than to finally see David Wright come back at least healthy, and play a few games.

My greatest desire is not just the Mets doing well, it's winning the world series so that Wright can officially put that on resume despite his lackluster effort. (Can't blame him though, spinal stenosis is one of the worst injuries you could possibly get as an athlete.)

He is the poster child but honestly it is like you said the worst injury you can have. Honestly he's done and won't come back. I can't blame him though. He's done enough for the Mets.

I hope we can pull this win out. Tough situation right now. I love what Callaway is doing with the bullpen.

It is, but Familia managed to close the 8th without any serious damages.

We'll see what happens!

Wow, what a game.

Matz with 8 S/O, and Lagares with that nice throw to home. Man oh man, this team feels so much different from last year... There's a sense of urgency.

Mets manager Mickey Callaway said that if the team plays the way they did on Thursday, they are a threat to Washington this year.

“We’re going to go out there and play as hard as we can every day,” Callaway told the New York Post. “We’re going to play baseball the right way, and if we do that, they probably do need to worry about us.”

This team has most certainly been playing smart baseball so far. Their offensive exploits haven’t hurt their chances very much either.

I love his humble but god to honest attitude. His lineups and pitching changes at time confuses me, but I trust his line of thinking. He is definitely refreshing to see manage a team. Wow.

Theyre playing smart baseball.
Not always depending on the long ball. Its refreshing to see. He's managing the team the way he's suppose to for a winning team.

Pitching and getting out of tight situations like that. Its tough when a starting pitcher doesn't go more than 5-6 innings, but were winning.

Lets just hope it keeps going.
