a guy i used to work with was hit by a crane operator who decided he didnt need a spotter to drop something on the roof.

knocked the guy backwards through a skylight, and the only reason he lived is because a steel beam stopped his fall.


it still fucked his back up so bad, now the guy can hardly even bend down or pick anything up.


he got a hefty settlement, but not enough to make it worth it.

No you don't, It's a struggle to sleep every night without proper medication. I will need a hip replacement before I am 40 or however long I can tolerate the pain.



3-4 years to get back on my feet working again, Something always went wrong post surgery (Re-torn labrums etc) it was a nightmare.

i fractured my c2 when i was 15 when i used to dirtbike ride. i know the feeling of struggling to sleep. ill have neck and back pain for the rest of my life, and it only gets worse and worse with age.
at least u got 600k out of it tho. mine was for free.. lol

edit: on the bright side i didnt end up like christopher reeve, who broke his c2 completely.
so being able to walk and stuff is worth more than 600k..

Wow we have an actual cripple here and Terps is running around pretending to be one to get pity donations. Almost as bad as him pretending to have cancer on his multi, Madmartigan.

You might think that, I don't I used to live a healthy active lifestyle.

Speaking of lawsuits, this family that lives near me (the dad was the head of a local private middle school) was on vacation at Sirenusa condominium resort in St. John's (Virgin Islands) got fucking poisoned by Terminex. They used an odorless pesticide called methyl bromide, which is banned from being used inside. Well apparently the fuckers used it on the first floor below where they were staying, and within 2 days they were all fucked up. Paralyzed, couldn't feel their limbs, throwing up, etc. The stuff can apparently severely damage the central nervous and respiratory systems. Hospitalized for months, and still can't function properly.

Well they're being awarded $82 Million, on top of several million more to cover medical bills.

Not worth it though, not worth it at all.
