Well if you go by age Ichiro would have been in the Majors for a lot of his Japan career.

he would of broke it easily
the japanese leagues only played a 130 game season, if ichiro played all those years in the majors he would of put up 200+ hit just about all those years as well

but still can't just add on the japan leagues and mlb

Saying MLB is harder than Japanese leagues is all opinion.
Some of the best pitchers we've ever seen have come from overseas.
