yea i dont agree with u a lot, but this is actually scary for MLB (or more specifically, the NL), considering ur up and comers... lol
besides the $2m buy out on harrison, and how much those prospects will be making via arb or just as a pay raise, u guys can have like 150+m avail.
thats crazy, thats like why i pick the astros in mlb 2k12 (franchise mode) considering the payroll vs ceiling, first round pick selection, and contractual obligations the following season or season after.. its a GM's dream.
your new GM just inherited a gold mine, he better not fuck it up. no need to go trading prospects for players and whatnot, at least not for the next 2-3 seasons. sign the right people to go with your prospects and that club can thrive big time...
but we'll see, all of us ALWAYS talk about about what we would do, and they go and do another thing and we just shake our heads at the results..
Yeah, and the free agent class of 2018 is going to be insane.

Besides Harper, you'll have Manny Machado, Josh Donaldson, Andrew McCutchen, A.J. Pollock, Dee Gordon, Jose Fernandez, Dallas Keuchel, matt Harvey, Garrett Richards and Shelby Miller. Players with opt-out clauses will include David Price, Jason Heyward, and Clayton Kershaw. Need a relief pitcher? How about Trevor Rosenthal, Zach Britton, Craig Kimbrel, Andrew Miller, Kelvin Herrera, Jeurys Familia or David Robertson? There will be veterans like Adam Jones, Michael Brantley, Adam Wainwright and Adrian Gonzalez available as well.
With that said regarding this 2016 season, we obviously don't expect them to stay this hot this entire season season lol. It's a long year...I said before the season I'd be ecstatic if these guys can hang around anywhere near .500ish and people even laughed at that. I think we could definitely see them exceed that (starting the season 15-10 is a good start).
