Honestly, I expect a pretty good season out of him.

He's definitely using the hate to motivate himself. With or without Roids he was always a good player.
His biggest problem is his age, the man will be 40 by the time the 2nd half starts. But I see him winning the DH spot and doing solid. Not Ortiz-esque but not terrible, OPS near the 800 mark like he had his last three seasons he played. Not fielding will help.
