Navarro isn't a much better a hitter than goins but he's definitely more capable of getting the ball in the air for a sac fly


against a pitcher who has the stuff that wade davis has, id rather have goins bat.

either way, navarro was way outmatched before he even stepped into the box, and then all the pressure in the world was on revere, which he couldnt handle either.


but yes. someone has to get at least one of those runners home.

batters didnt step up when they were needed most.

Went 0'12 with risp, that's why we lost, no duh Navarro was outmatched, Davis is one of the best (if not the best) relievers in baseball, Navarro has been a clutch hitter since joining the Jays last season, can't say it was the wrong call

it just seemed like a spot where youd want someone with some a shorter approach at the plate, because davis is so nasty ofc.

like revere, except he failed too.
