I don't know why Orioles fans care about draft picks. The organization has proven over the past 15 years that they have absolutely no eye for talent. Having a 2nd round pick or not having a 2nd round pick isn't going to make a difference because chances are they would waste that pick anyways.

That doesnt mean you just throw them away. If they are going to waste a pick, then go get someone who actually is worth it.

How would they be throwing it away? Balfour is good and would be another good reliever in the bullpen.

i dont want to give a pick away for another reliever personally. I dunno who else they could get off the top of my head. But our first pick is protected so obviously they could upgrade in any position. ofc this all wouldnt matter to me if they signed balfour AND Lee. then i wouldnt care about the draft pick
