Get the fuck out lol

We play real baseball.

Pitchers that never batted before can get injured? EVERYONE bats coming up into the majors...and by all standards if your pitcher can't even fuckin jog to first then that fatass needs to stay his ass on the bench.

lol, and what if they've been in the majors for a fair amount of time and haven't batted in a long time and haven't faced major league pitching
they barely practice until a couple days before interleague play

it looks like he sprained his ankle on the swing

+it's almost a free out when a pitcher is batting
and that can play a huge factor, like today

No it's not a free out. It's just that you guys use the DH as a crutch. Pitchers in the NL might have .150 batting averages but they are loads better hitters than the AL pitchers because they can bunt for hits, sacrifice, direct a ball one way or the other, they can run the bases and obviously are more complete as players. I feel like the DH is something that is very "arcade-esque" real baseball is in the NL where you can't hide ANYONE at the DH. Fat fucks like Ortiz wouldn't be so valuable because every run they give you they take away on the field....the DH is a crutch to lure people that are just casual fans of baseball into watching it more in attempts to make it "less boring" which is bullshit because baseball is baseball and it shouldn't be changed to make it more commercially appealing. Fuck it, let's just use Aluminum bats next.

Edit - and the same advantage can happen in the reverse...When the Phillies or someone play in the AL do they use someone like Matt fucking Stairs to DH rather than someone like David Ortiz in his prime or Jim Thome and etc.

Cause they bat more often than AL pitchers.
Which makes it unfair when Interleague play is in the NL.

Didn't feel like reading the rest.

I'd rather have Stairs hit than Romero etc.
