sounds like the theory behind a 4 man rotation throwing fewer pitches is a valid one to try, just not how the rockies implemented it.

Update on Troy Tulowitzki's Injury: After being examined this morning, Tulowitzki was diagnosed with Hockey/Baseball Pitcher Syndrome. Hockey/Baseball Pitcher Syndrome is a type of athletic pubalgia or core injury to his left groin region. Tulowitzki has surgery scheduled for tomorrow in Philadelphia, to be performed by Dr. William Meyers. There is no time table set for Tulowitzki's return and the Rockies will provide more updates following the surgery.

Colvin is just as bad, and at least Fowler has proven he can hit on the road
