Pretty tough to justify Hughes over Nova right now. I'm usually not one to judge so quickly but I wouldn't be against Hughes spending the rest of the year in AAA. He has an option remaining, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't see why they're not considering some semblance of a 6 man rotation for awhile. Let CC and AJ pitch on their normal days for the most part, and let the other 4 rotate. Nova is too good to be wasted in AAA, wouldn't have to worry about another dead arm for Phillychzstk, and the old odd couple could use some rest for October down the stretch now that the hold on the WC spot is fairly secure for the moment... because, and I would have laughed if someone said this to me on March 31st, Freddy and Bartolol are gonna be a key part of that playoff rotation.



Just can't see it happening. No one worth grabbing that won't cost too much, imo.
