#‎Mariners‬ acquire LHP Wade Miley and RHP Jonathan Aro from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for RHP Carson Smith and LHP Roenis Elias.

So much speculation about what's going on with the Reds' Aroldis Chapman trade to the Dodgers.

1. One of the prospects the Dodgers were sending the Reds failed his physical.

2. Another team offered the Reds a better trade package of prospects and the Reds are now backing out of the Dodgers deal.

3. Kenley Jansen wasn't happy with the reported Chapman trade to Dodgers this morning and is now demanding a trade. And now the Reds and Dodgers are looking for a third team involved to take Jansen in what could be a three-team trade.

Who knows? All I know is a trade isn't official until all the teams agree and send in their paperwork to the MLB league office.
That never happened over the past six hours. So the Reds can still do what they want with Aroldis Chapman. It was never official.

Unbelievable intrigue and suspense. I wonder if something official happens today?

Elias is not as effective as Miley lol. Elias stats are boosted from safeco and hes definitely not as reliable as miley who has pitched 200+ or around for the past 4 years

That being said I still feel we got ripped . Idk what Dipoto is going to do about the bullpen situation right now. Guess he thinks Benoit is enough in there lol

i agree. miley is actually a decently reliable 3/4 starter. hell be much more consistent this season.
