he then trades our top player this year pence for a scrub ass bench outfielder, catching and first base prospect that will never see time with the phillies because of current prospects and and a pitcher i cant even speak on cuz i dont know shit about him

He wasn't trying to improve the team. He was straight up looking to dump salary because pence would prob make around 15m in arb and vic is a FA after this year.
