I wonder what we would have to give up for Floyd. White Sox seem to be in win now mode so I don't think we are a match.

Britton should be off limits in a trade with all the great lefties in that Boston lineup.

i dunno but would very much like for him to be here.

Britton is basically off limits i think dude. It's clear to me i think because teams are always asking for Tillman. They wouldnt ask for him unless we just LOLD at them when they ask for matusz and britton

I think you're off on Tillman. I don't think teams want him at all. There is a reason everyone wanted Hernandez that we were talking to about 3B and SS. Never heard a legit report of any of them wanting Tillman. When there was it was quickly shot down and they said the team wanted Hernandez.

It's understandable though. Tillman has dominated AAA and got lit up in the MLB. A lot of people are nervous he is going to be another Hayden Penn. I don't know if he will end up being good or not but I'm glad we still have him since his upside is tremendous. I would be surprised if he is ever better than Matusz, Britton, Bergesen, or Arrieta though.

I think if Tillman works on his cutter (that he was apparently working on when he got sent back to the minors), I think he can become a significantly better pitcher.
Everyone says his fastball has no movement on it. They're correct, and I think that's why we're not giving up on him yet.
His curveball is absolutely nasty. Again, if he can get his cutter working, shit, he'll have limited problems in the majors.

Agreed. That game vs Texas where he almost threw the no-no he had it working. Then again, the Rangers hitters admitted afterwards they never expected it.

Maybe, just maybe, Tillman will have a different mindset coming into Spring Training.
I hope Buck Nekkid pushes him, hard.

Most definitely will. Been an O's fan my whole life; lived in Maryland my whole life; won't mind sharing insights.
I also live close to Bowie and go to the AA every so often.
So, yeah.

He is at some top notch athletic facility with Matusz this off season. Maybe some of Matusz' insight can rub off on him. I remember last year Buck didn't seem to pleased when they bumped Tillman's pitching day back 2 days and Tillman made a comment saying he didn't like it.

Also, hopefully he puts some muscle on and adds gets his velocity back. He was throwing like 88-92 last season. When he came up as a rookie I could have sworn he was hitting 95.
