we need a new closer. frieri is fucking trash.
gave up 5 HRs in 8 2/3 inning, just blew this 3 run lead. innings not even over. luckily someones coming in so we might not get walked off on.. but who knows. salas sucks too

this is getting ridiculous already, and it's still April...

we arent doing bad, its just our pen. how many games have we lost cuz of them? frieri is fucking trash. kohn has been solid, smith has looked a LOT better. yet they stick with frieri, and then throw in salas whos just as bad and boom, goodbye sweep.

this is the same exact problem we've had for the past 3 years... we can score runs, but the bullpen can't ever hold a lead.

like i said FLC it will take you guys a month to get to 15 wins

also looking forward to seeing Nick Maronde come out of the pen more often. He's looked really good.

im happy frieri lost his closer job. guys trash. im not sold on smith yet, should just leave the door open to whoevers hot. that way if someone comes in gives up 2 hits it he can just yank the guy and put someone else in. now naming smith the closer hes going to leave him in there until the inning is over.

Happy Frieri lost his closing job to because he's as inconsistent as they get, but I'm definitely not sold on Smith either.
