Taking a look at the stats for all the affiliates and here are what stands out to me.
AAA Norfolk
Ryan Adams - .304/.361/.393 1hr 4rbi
Nolan Reimold - .245/.353/.392 4hr 15rbi
Josh Bell - .280/.301/.500 5hr 14rbi 3bb 32k
Mark Worrell - 13.1ip 9h 3er 4bb 11k 0.98whip
Alberto Castillo - 14ip 9h 4er 2bb 8k 0.79whip
Nice to see Ryan Adams hitting well so far even though he's not hitting for much power. Reports are his defense has greatly improved as well. Reimold still has a great eye but his window is closing as a potential future starter in Baltimore and he needs to start hitting soon. Josh Bell still has no idea what a strike zone is but at least he is hitting better this season. Worrell and Castillo are both pitching well and while neither are likely to be long term solutions in the bullpen they will likely be the next two relievers to get a chance in Baltimore.
AA Bowie
The highest batting average for any player on the team that qualifies is .266 ... wow that is pathetic.
Xavier Avery - 16sb
Dan Klein - Pitched good in his 2 appearances since being called up.
Cole McCurry - 17ip 7h 1er 5bb 22k 0.71whip
Pedro Viola - 12ip 8h 1er 4bb 12k 1.00whip
The hitting is completely pathetic and the pitching isn't much better. Xavier Avery can't hit at all but at least he makes the most of his rare appearances on the base paths as he has 16 steals. McCurry and Viola will likely be in Norfolk soon and if they continue to pitch will can possibly get called up to Baltimore. More than likely they are September call ups unless injuries IMO. Klein has done good in his 2 appearances and might be the only player in Bowie with any future potential as a solid player for Baltimore.
High A Frederick
Tyler Townsend - .333/.364/.629 6hr 23rbi 2bb 24k
Robert Bundy - 5g 3-2 2.55era 24.2ip 5bb 30k
Nice to see Townsend hitting the cover off the ball but it seems he may be another free swinger that has no regards for a strike zone. Robert Bundy to me has the potential to be a starter in the big leagues and may be the next Orioles HS draftee that slowly climbs the top prospect lists and may eventually (hopefully) become a top prospect. I doubt it will but if he continues to pitch well maybe it will influence them to draft his brother with the 4th overall pick.
Low A Delmarva
Kipp Schutz - .377/.436/.575 3hr 25rbi
Manny Machado - .333/.450/.611 5hr 21rbi 19bb 14k
Jonathan Schoop - .320/.368/.508 4hr 19rbi
Michael Ohlman - .299/.382/.493 2hr 13rbi
Schutz, Machado, and Schoop are all killing it. Michael Ohlman is a pleasant surprise and hopefully he can keep it up. I look for Schutz, Machado, and Schoop to all get called up to Frederick during the break.

Yeah, but he can't hit at all and is striking out a lot :(

Hopefully he can go on a hot streak soon though. If we aren't in contention at the trade deadline since there will likely be a spot for him after.

I've seen Bundy pitch every game this season first hand. He's a beast. I've seen Townsend hit and yeah he's got some serious power.

5 games under .500 without our #1 and #3 starters + Hardy on the DL the majority of the time ... yeah that's real embarrassing lol.

#1 record in the MLB last year with our starting 8 only together for 9 games.

Dont give me injury as an excuse.

The talent levels of each club, injury or no injury, aren't really comparable.

So I guess in response to Roch's post this morning, what do you think the roster should look like when we activate guys off the DL?
How should our batting lineup look?

I think this:

Tatum should be our backup catcher.
Rapada should be sent down.
Tillman should be traded / sent down.
Bergesen should be sent down.
Izzy should be released / traded.

Matusz will be activated.
Hardy will be activated.
Simon should start if activated.
Fox should be backup 1B/3B instead of C, thus making Andino backup 2B/SS.
