Well, it can't get any worse from here as I think we have hit rock bottom with this team. Guthrie, Arrieta, and Britton have been solid for the most part while Tillman has been horrendous and Bergesen has been bad. The offense as a whole has been terrible but at least are finally starting to hit the ball and take some walks (even though they still suck ballz with situational hitting). The bullpen is currently the worst in baseball but if the starters can start pitching deeper in games I think the bullpen will bounce back.

The bullpen is horrendous, the offense is struggling, and the starting pitching as a whole is bad. Yet, we are still only 5 games under .500.

The good news is that Hardy comes back Tuesday and we likely get rid of Rapada. Then, Simon will be back with the team and we likely get rid of Rupe as Simon will be the long man in the bullpen. Then, at the end of the month Matusz comes back and we get rid of Tillman or Bergesen. I don't mind Bergesen as our #5 starter at all because even in the games where he gets hit hard it mainly comes with one big inning (much like it did against Hernandez when he was a starter). If he can just find a way to give up 1 or 2 runs instead of 3 or 4 in that one inning that always haunts him maybe he can return to the form that made him the frontrunner for AL ROY before his freak injury. If Tillman can somehow figure it out and save his spot in the rotation I can see them sticking Bergesen in the bullpen where I think he would be great. The only thing is, Tillman is the one starter that I have no faith in at all. Also, maybe there is a Duke sighting in June which would be huge for this team. I'm not counting on it but the reports have been good and there hasn't been any set backs yet.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think they will turn it around.

Yeah how embarrassing.
There was so much hope about this team. I even hopped on the hope train as well.

Oh well at least we wont be hearing you talk about how O's will finish 3rd and how they are so good under Buck
