We saw an oddity in the NBA series, with a single team making two consecutive 3-1 comebacks. The Astros are another oddity (being only the second 0-3 team to make it to Game 7).

The unique format of the playoffs play a role here. In any other year, the Rays would have had opportunities to clinch at home. This year they have zero such home games. This does even the odds a little and make it easier for comebacks.

Losing record in the regular season now just 1 win away from making the WS
