I just don't see where Montero would play in Colorado. Unless they can develop him as a third basemen and trade Stewart. But even then you got Arenado waiting in the wings.

Yea I'm guessing as the apparent to Helton and backup catcher. Colorado has always been rreally good at converting players to different positions.

It's been brought up but the consensus is that he wouldn't be athletic enough for that spot. They tried him there in extended spring training if I'm not mistaken and did decent enough from what I read.
