well both our catchers were scheduled to be free agents this offseason, so i think they wanted atleast 1 catcher locked up for next year going into the offseason.

Well we know Nap wants to stay, and he wont ask for an outrageous amount. He's worth the investment IMO. Can't think if any available catchers off the top of my head that I'd rather have.

Yeah, but I'm originally from Longview, I do like seeing Chris do well...just not against us. Glad he found a good home though, somewhere he makes a difference b/c I agree, he was not a good fit for us. Maybe Hamilton for Davis + prospect? lol
