Not really just the mets.... Royals have scored 35 runs this postseason from the 8th inning on. The other 9 teams combined have 26. It's a product of hitting off relievers (aka, usually, hitting the fastball well), a never-say-die attitude, good baserunning, and, should starters go that far, hitting them well after they've seen them 3-4 times.
/edit: That's an average of over two runs per game after the 8th inning... unreal
