how many times did u say he was a lock for 30+ hrs, and would have 100+ RBIs?
i told you 100 times he wouldnt reach those numbers, and you say "stay small" and "he'll have more HRs than anyone on the angels"
you never listen, then try to make excuses when its thrown in your face how wrong you are.
staying healthy through a season is just as important as producing. deal with it kid.
He's hurt...
Of course he's not going to reach his peak numbers if he's only playing like 122 games out of the season rofl. Even still, he has only played 122 games this season and still sits #3 in the league in HR's, and the guys above him have all played like 10-20+ more games than him.
27 HR's and 81 RBI's in just 122 games is a great breakout season for him, period. Especially in a god awful offense, his RBI total would be so much higher if he wasn't on an awful offensive team that doesn't get on base for him. You can sit here and talk to yourself all you want, but at the end of the day that's big time production and D.Brown has established himself as a legit big league slugger.
He was regarded as a very talented but very raw prospect, and it took him longer to tap into his potential. But he's only going to get better from here, he JUST started to learn true plate discipline rofl.
Haters gonna hate.
