Athletics shortstop prospect Addison Russell will miss at least a month with a Grade 3 strain of his right hamstring, Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reports.

Russell was placed on the seven-day disabled list Sunday with a strained hamstring, but Passan hears it's a more serious tear than initially indicated. Before the injury, it was believed the former first-round pick could be in Oakland before the end of the season. With the setback, it may be 2015 before he makes his major league debut.

Throughout that entire indians series I swear the A's like never swung the bats, and when they did they fucking either got a base hit or a homer.

Made our pitchers look like shit. :(
