I predicted 8-3 in Game 1 but looks like I was just confused with Game 2 is all. I thought the Astros would win the second game and lose the first game. It still adds up to 1-1 just the same. Now they'll probably lose games 3 and 4. LOL

Hopefully, just need Rockies to stop sucking and winning sum games then i am confident of 1st draft pick

Series tied 1-1 with two games left to play. This could be Wandy Rodriguez's last start as an Astro. I heard earlier tonight he could be dealt to the St. Louis Cardinals some time next week. The Astros will probably score two runs or less in every game all series long so all the Padres have to do is score three.

I'm actually surprised the Astros scored 4 runs in the third game but it wasn't enough. All they have to do now is lose tonight and they'll be in excellent shape for the 1st overall pick. They should have gotten swept in this four-game series (Game 1 was such a fluke win - Padres out-hit us in that game). But Edinson Volquez is a really good pitcher and Lucas Harrell is horrible on the road -- 2-5 with a 6.21 ERA as oppose to his great home numbers (5-1 with a 1.99 ERA).

Ez win for Padres tonight, bet the farm on it

10-2 San Diego will spank us. The Astros don't even have much heart right now. Jose Altuve is the only guy I see playing hard all game long.

Complete game 1-hit shutout for Edinson Volquez. Just missed a no-hitter but Matt Downs had a check-swing infield single back to the pitcher's mound in the top of the 4th.

A Logan Forsythe RBI single in the bottom of the 1st was the only score of the game.

Padres win 1-0

Padres take the series three games out of four.

The Houston Astros drop to 34-59 on the season, worst record in baseball and are in good shape to get the 1st overall pick in the 2013 MLB Draft next June. Please some Mark Appel, thanks. Another game and another loss. This offense is soooooooo bad. Our Triple-A and Double-A team have better lineups.
