NEW YORK -- New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has elected to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair a slight meniscus tear in his right knee, a team spokesman confirmed Sunday.

He is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Takes about 10 days just for the skin to heal with that surgery. Should be able to rehab about a week and a half after that.

good, better take care of it now, than take the risk and get really hurt later in the season.
