I think Schoop is our 2nd best prospect after Machado. I like Mummey a lot but not sure I would put him in the top 10 prospect list just yet. If he has a good year this year he will likely be in the top 10 before next season and be in Bowie.

Also, the other night Robert Bundy pitched a Hell of a game. His final line was 6ip 6h, 0r, 1bb, 9k. He is one of the few pitchers in the system that I check up on every start as I think he has the potential to be pretty good.

Some draft sites have us taking his younger brother, Dylan Bundy, with the 4th pick in this years Rule 4 draft.

yea i think schoop is the real deal. maybe he and machado could man the MI for the next 10 years. maybe.
bundy is a good pitcher, it will be intereesting to see how he does moving up through the system.
i love his brother though, but not sure about at 4.

I'm not sure they will put Schoop at 2b though. I'm pretty sure if everything worked out perfectly Machado, Givens, and Schoop would all climb the ranks together with Givens at 2b, Machado at SS, and Schoop at 3B. We won't be able to tell what they are going to do with Schoop position wise until next year IMO. I'm sure once they advance him and Machado to Frederick they will put Schoop at 3B and keep Hoes at 2b since, for some reason unbeknownst to me, he is one of our higher ranked prospects. If Schoop continues to play well the rest of the year and is able to start next season in Bowie we will know if they see him as a 2b or 3b.

yea schoop will basically determine his position by how he fills out. good point about third, didnt think about that. I actually remember reading a scout thinking he may move to third eventually. yea hoes is AAAA fodder in my opinion , nothing more.
