Pedroia played the final weeks of the season including postseason on a torn meniscus, good lord no wonder he suddenly stopped hitting.

Didn't even hear a peep from him about it either, played through it, god damn you have to love this guy.

He didn't hurt the line-up.

He just had a significant drop off from the .400 he was batting for awhile after the move to lead-off. His OBP was middle of the road for the team in the series.

A healthy pedroia wouldn't have saved this trainwreck of a playoff team, if it were a close series i may agree with you but it wasnt.
