It's not even sabermetrics really. He's just a really good reliever. Gets ground balls, doesn't give up home runs, and doesn't walk people.

For example, this year he's only allowed inheritated runners to score 10% of the time. That's really good. It's probably just easier to remember the times when he does give up those runs.

(PS. didn't mean to offend you if I did, just pissed about Tulo's injury)
