altuve 2022 post season -

ALDS vs SEA - 0 for 16 with 6 strike outs
ALCS vs NYY - 3 for 16 with 5 strike outs
WS vs trash town - 7 for 22 with 1 strike out

yordan started slumping against the yankees after single handily beating seattle

not sure if you're just drunk all week or what, i can objectively say this astros team is not as good as teams in the past few years (although Pena is a freaking stud), but your trash team is lucky to even be in this series. your pitchers are all shit and outside of harper and realmuto (who's knees look like they're about to give out) you guys have nothing.

if castellanos doesn't make that catch game one this could have been a sweep or a 5 game sweep

Pitchers are all shit? 🤔🤦‍♂️

And nothing besides harper and realmuto? I guess Schwarber (NL HR leader this season) and Hoskins are just scrubs eh?

Just kind of reaching for anything here aren't you? Nothing you're saying is even making sense. You also didn't start talking all this trash until after the Astros got back into the series lmao

I'm glad we've got a well rested Wheeler taking the mound tomorrow night, that's all I can say. A lot of people wanted him last night, but Rob stuck to the plan and wanted to get him rested so he can be his usual dominant self and not throw the junk we saw in game 2.

didn't schwarber bat like .200 this year?

i'll take consistent production in my leadoff spot to a few extra HRs

and "back into the series"? it was 2-1... lol

i see math is a concept that eludes the trash of that town

Schwarber had a 146 wRC+ and a 130 OPS+ this season. Pretty wild to see a fan of a team built around scouting and analytics use batting average as a method to determine how good a player is. By most metrics Schwarber is one of the better hitters in all of baseball. Just because he isn't as good as Altuve doesn't mean that he is "nothing". What a wild thing to say.

Tucker - 128 OPS+, 121 wRC+

Schwarber - 130 OPS+, 146 wRC+

I'm not sure but I think 130 is higher than 128 and 146 is higher than 121? I guess by your own logic Tucker is "nothing"?

Either way, the point isn't that Schwarber is a "star". It's that you said he is "nothing" when he clearly would fit right into any lineup in baseball. I was simply pointing out how stupid your statement was.

Edit - This pointless back and forth with someone who likely never took a math course after high school is a perfect example why the Sports Coliseum is dead and should remain dead. What a time waster. Have fun watching the World Series and take care.

i guess reading is beyond you because tucker's wRC+ is 142, which i'd call a wash with 146 on a made up stat

Let me get this str8, you'd rather have Schwarber over Tucker?

I made a typo, it’s 129. You’re just making up things now. If it’s a “wash” are you ready to admit you were wrong then?

What a wild question. This forum is somehow dumber than it was 12 years ago in its heyday. No wonder it’s just DM, Jackzors, and a bunch of randoms now. I knew I should have just stayed out of here but Stuart’s stupidity was too much. Oh well, I’m out of here before I lose IQ points reading any more responses.
