I probably got the Perez contract wrong as well. That wasn't a pre-arb contract that I posted earlier.



Contracts to look at are Braun, Tulowitski, Goldschmidt etc. the money per year is lower but it was 2008-2012, but it’s been happening for years. Kind of went away from my original post, Personally I just don’t see it as a steal.

The announcers during the game were talking about how much security that is for someone's life though and can be hard to turn down even if they are getting the short end of the stick. It's a good point for sure 35 Million is more money than anyone needs.
