cuz what ichiro has done still is.
never said he was better than rose.
btw. ichiro will be in the HOF in 2 different countries for professional baseball.

It just seems like there is this argument being perpetuated that Ichiro's record is better, though it seems the impetus for this argument is based more on a dislike of Rose rather than actual merit for Ichiro's hits.

Sorry if I lumped you into this argument. I do recognize Ichiro as a truly impressive player; I just don't like it when folks herald him as the hits leader when Rose is the true major league hits leader, even if the MLB doesn't recognize him as such.

and i dont think there was any argument about who is, i think someones just pointed out that combined hed have more hits.

but honestly to the people trying to say ichiro is the all time hit king now, if you're going to add ichiro's japan stats you must add pete rose minor league stats also

im not saying that. nor should he be considered that.
