The Phillies obviously overpaid Howard with the extension, but that was before he got really fucked up from running down 1st baseline. That was before moneyball and home runs were what was getting paid. It was for half of the duration of Pujols' who is gonna get paid as he turns 40.....Pujols batting average was down for multiple consecutive seasons so it was obvious he was in a decline too.
Not even trolling but I'd rather the phils overpay Ryan Howard than give somebody not Bryce Harper a 10year contract. It's funny because their numbers are about the same this season except were getting rid of this bum next season.
