We just got wright back....and now dudas hurt. Cuddys been hurt for a sig. Portion...murphy...darnaud...

Matz is still working his way back
Wheeler has been out
Mejia went full stupid

Was just simply stating some facts. I know plenty of teams have had big injuries...Probably the easiest to compare to void my excuse is the Cards losing Waino and a few others (Adams/Holliday) and still wrecking the league.

I just can't believe this will be the 1st game with our 8 batters...Just shocked is all. None of them have lived up to their norm...Rendon mr 'tony two bags'...has like 2 2 bags not counting the HR's...Desmond has absolutely ruined his value on the market with his offense and defense this year, and only Harper and Espinosa have reached or exceeded expectations. Harper finally shows what he can do, and we expected Espinosa to be off the bench but he's been an everyday player with his age and has been great. Escobar has been great too, just fragile as all hell.

9/7-9/9: vs Mets
9/10: Off
9/11-9/13: @ Marlins
9/14-9/16: @ Phillies
9/17-9/20: vs Marlins
9/21-9/23: @ Orioles
9/24: Off
9/25-9/27: vs Phillies
9/28: vs Reds
9/29-10/1: @ Braves
10/2-10/4: @ Mets

Mets remaining schedule:

9/5-9/6: @ Marlins
9/7-9/9: @ Nats
9/10-9/13: @ Braves
9/14-9/16: vs Marlins
9/17: Off
9/18-9/20: vs Yankees
9/21-9/23: vs Braves
9/24-9/27: @ Reds
9/28: Off
9/29-10/1: @ Phillies
10/2-10/4: vs Nats

Both teams play some shit tier teams to close it out. Should come down to their head to head games. If Mets can at least split the six they should take the division.

if they can sweep the mets...
nationals have been plagued with injury all year, but they play really well at home

do they get to avoid the nl central if they win their division? wild card has to play the best team or no?

Nats now 4 back with Scherzer going tomorrow against Niese. Niese has been terrible lately. Tomorrow's game is as must win as must win can be.

The Mets this year are definitely not the same as '07...

Our starting pitcher trumps our '07 by like a 1000, and we actually have a decent hitting line up.

Mets aren't going to get swept by the Nats... I would be willing to buy FG just to bet you on that...

No shit sherlock.

Niese just gave up a grand slam after being given a 3 run lead. The guy is just a gas can now.
