Read that Ted Lilly avoided receiving jail time for insurance fraud today. Apparently he tried to con them out of about 4700 dollars in damages to his RV or something by getting the policy after the damage had been done and reporting it after the coverage started lol. Isn't he fucking rich? Played for 15 years, why didn't he just pay the God damned money?

Fined $2500 and sentenced to community service and some other thing lol.

EDIT -- Net worth, according to a Google search, shows him at 40-80 million dollars :/.

Ethier wants a trade if he can't start.

So I guess this begs the question as to whether or not you'd want Crawford or Ethier playing left. I like that Crawford can lead off and feel like he's probably a better hitter, but he isn't too good defensively and Ethier is pretty damn clutch most of the time I've seen him play. On top of that I like Ethier since he's been there forever, but he really sucks versus left handed pitching, so that's a bitch, and it is hard to trade him cause of that contract, but ideally it'd be cool to see him moved and they'd just go with Crawford in left, Puig in right and Joc in center (maybe reverse those last two) with Van Slyke being the fourth outfielder, much better economically and Van Slyke can hit and hit with power, too.

Hopefully they get Ethier's issue resolved so we can stop hearing about it :/. I also hope Pederson pans out. Dude has a huge ass upside considering his minor league numbers but he struck out a lot last year. If he can have a big season that would be very good considering they lost Kemp and he was finally producing.
